Call of Duty is one of the most popular First Person Shooter games with highly successful releases under it’s belt – this game has continuously broken records with each release. Activision wanted to bring the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts game to EB Games Expo, giving the attendees the first chance to look into the game and play the Call of Duty : Ghosts before the official launch.
Using elements from the actual game, Popology created and built a massive 20m X 20m booth with 5m tall walls, giving the element of suspense and creating intense hype. The booth consisted of a bridge to cross over which is featured in the game, a theatre for players to watch the trailer before moving into the gameplay arena where attendees could have exclusive gameplay.
With some attendees lining up for 4+ hours at a time to get in 10 minutes of gameplay (and going back for more!) – Popology amplified the Call of Duty brand through giving a unique and exciting experience to true lovers, fans and new players of the game.
