For the Australian launch of Coolish, Popology introduced one of Japan’s most iconic convenience store treats to a local audience through a playful, social-first brand experience.
This limited two-week pop-up at both Westfield Pitt Street and Melbourne Central Shopping Centre was designed to convert social traction into real-world engagement: integrating a hero fridge content moment, an interactive polaroid wall, and complimentary COOLISH – because nothing converts like the first taste!
A cult favourite in Japan, Coolish is a drinkable ice cream that blends the refreshment of a beverage with the indulgence of soft serve – served in its signature squeeze pouch designed for on-the-go enjoyment. Already a viral sensation across Asia, the challenge was to translate that cultural hype into an engaging launch moment for Australian consumers.
